Part 1.
Use MS Word to create an MS Word document of the text of the slides of a PowerPoint presentation. At the beginning of the document insert a list of the document’s paragraph names. The paragraph names briefly describe the paragraphs’ contents. The MS Word document must contain at least 5 paragraphs. Each paragraph must contain at least four sentences. Add headers to the documents. A footers with page numbers to the document. Add 1 relevant picture to each paragraph. Copy each Word paragraph to a new PowerPoint slide. Add at least one picture to each slide. Write the homework name (h6) as the document’s rite your name as the document’s footer. Choose one of the following topics as the PowerPoint presentation topic:
1. The CPU subsystem
Discuss what the CPU is, its relation to the other components of the computer system, how the CPU works, different kinds of CPUs, CPUs and cache memory, how the CPU affects computer system performance, etc.
2. The Memory subsystem
Discuss what memory is, its relation to the other components of the computer system, the different kinds of memory, how memory affects computer performance, etc.
3. The Storage subsystem
Discuss what secondary storage is, its relation to the other components of the computer system, the different kinds of secondary storage – mechanical, optical, solid state, etc.
4. The Video subsystem
Discuss what the video system is, its relation to the other components of the computer system, video cards, video memory, the GPU, etc.
5. The Audio subsystem
Discuss what the audio system is, its relation to the other components of the computer systems, sound cards, speakers, MIDI interface boxes, microphones, etc.
6. Evaluating system reliability
Discuss the meaning of “system reliability”, symptoms of an unreliable system, keeping a system reliable, relation between software and system reliability.
Part2.
Copy the word document to a power point presentation. Apply transitions to the slides. Apply mouse and timed slide advances to the slides. Apply sounds to the slide advances. Write homework name (h6) as the slides’ header. Write your name as the slides’ footer.
Part3. (You can use your own fake data)
Create an Excel work book. The word book has two worksheets. The first sheet’s name is Transactions. It has three columns – Date, Type, and Amount. The second sheet’s name is Summary. It has three columns – Type, How Many, and Total. The worksheet’s rows are the type names of each type of transaction, the number of each type of transaction, and the sum of the amounts of each type transaction. The worksheet’s last row is the total number of transactions and the total of all transactions. Save homework name : h6.xxl
Part4.
Create an Access database. Import the Transactions worksheets from Excel to Access. Create queries that display the same information that the Excel workbook’s summary page displayed. Save name to h6.
