Starting a side or part-time small business while working a day job can mitigate financial risks that come with “quitting your day job to start a small business.” However, there are many challenges in having a part-time or side small business while working a day job as well.

By Day 3, post the following:

  • Examine at least three significant challenges and risks that an entrepreneur faces when trying to work a full-time job while starting or running a part-time or side small business.
  • As part of your analysis, identify and describe at least two ethical issues that could arise from working a day job for one company and running a part-time small business on the side. Include the impact these issues could have on your analysis, and provide ways you might lessen the impact.
  • Provide your recommendation to manage these challenges, risks, and ethical issues.
