Remember when the Samsung galaxy 7 phones were catching on fire back in 2016? I remember coming across an article where a man left his phone, galaxy Note 7, charging in his Jeep while he went inside his home. As he returned to his car, he noticed flames then, the car exploded due to the galaxy phone catching fire. Samsung issued an unofficial recall where Samsung is telling customers to take advantage of their product exchange  program.Â
In this case, will Samsung be responsible for paying the damages to his car, even though he did not exchange his phone when the recall went out?Â
