communications plan to address the many challenges described in the “Running Case” by using the following
as a guideline.
A communications plan is written to define the communication requirements needed to successfully execute a project and
describe how
information will be distributed. Your communications management plan should consist of the following
elements:
what information needs to be communicated

include the level of detail and format;
how information will be communicated (e.g., meetings, email,
telephone, web portal);
when information will be distributed
—
how often and whether communications will be formal or informal;
who is responsible for communicating project information;
communication requirements for all project stakeholders/team members;

at project resources are allocated for communications;
how changes in the communication process are managed;
identification of constraints, internal or external, which affect project communications;
identification of templates, formats, or documents the pr

the escalation process for resolving any communication
