Learning Outcomes
Review the Course Learning Outcomes as you develop your Learning Outcomes Portfolio.
Â
1.11 - Learning Outcomes Portfolio Review
In lieu of a Midterm Exam, you will create a Learning Outcomes Portfolio that demonstrates your mastery of all of the Learning Outcomes in this course. Please review theLearning Outcomes before beginning this Portfolio.
You will find and/or create artifacts that demonstrate your mastery of the outcomes. Each artifact will be accompanied by a rationale that explains how the artifact demonstrates your mastery and provides context for the artifact. Each rationale should be approximately 1/2 page in length.
You are encouraged to use examples of your work from the course as artifacts. This could include copies of your discussions, pdf. files, screen shots, doc. files, or any other work for the course. When you use an example of your work from the course, you must include information regarding where the artifact came from (Activity number, discussion post title, etc.) and date. This will enable you to save and prep the articles for consolidation before posting them in Module 9.
You may also find or create new artifacts to demonstrate your mastery; these could include relevant images, YouTube videos, news articles, or other types of artifacts. However, it is imperative that you cite where the artifact came from as well as fully explain how this artifact relates to and demonstrates your mastery of the Learning Outcome.
There are a variety of formats you can select from to present your Learning Outcomes Portfolio. You are encouraged to review the list of suggested tools and experiment with several before making a final decision. Keep in mind that your instructor will not provide technical support for any of the tools, but links to tutorials have been provided in the above link as well.
In Module 6, you will submit your artifacts and rationales for at least two Learning Outcomes for review and feedback from your instructor.
In Module 9, you will submit your completed Learning Outcomes Portfolio. Please review the Learning Outcomes Portfolio Rubric as you work on your portfolio.Â
