Question description

 

 

1.Identify the 38 International bank stocks and their symbols listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

2. Identify the 46 U.S. Bank stocks and their symbols listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

3.Compile a portfolio in google finance  of these stocks. I would suggest a a separate portfolio for each. Google will track the daily performance of the stock along with providing you news on each as it occurs. Be prepared each class to discuss news items of interest.

4.Identify two bank stock mutual funds. Compare and Contrast, them and provide a recommendation as to which one you would recommend for investing in and why.

5. Same as number 4 but identify two Exchange traded funds(ETF's) instead of mutual funds.

(The purpose of the above assignment is for you to become aware of the banks and their activities. This will enable you raise your awareness and knowledge of bank"activity". This will put you on a level playing field or above with your peers in terms of banking knowledge and terminology. )

6. Answer problems In chapter 2 - -1,7,11 and activity 3
