Suppose an electrolytic cell is made by exploiting the following redox reaction.
Â
3Cd(s) + 2Au3+(aq) 3Cd2+(aq) + 2Au(s)
Â
Au3+Â (aq) + 3e-Â --> Au (s)
Cd2+Â (aq) + 2e-Â --> Cd (s)
Â
For (1.) I got an answer of +1.90 v
For (2.) I got 1.50 x 10-3Â M using the answer from (1.) and plugging it into the Nernst equation.
Just wanted to see if I did this right, thanks.
