impact of events in life

Art does not happen in a vacuum. When we consider artistic expression today, we can see the impact of events in life that are addressed in the visual arts, music, dance, the theater and or film, to mention some expressions. 

 

There are events in life of the artist or the community that have an impact upon the arts. In this chapter, there is the discussion of the philosophical point of Humanism. It is during this time period in history that we seen an interest in human expression and individualism. How are these two points of view expressed in the art of the Baroque period? Give and example.
