Grant and Lee: A Study in Contrasts

Hi i need help with this assigment. My deadline is Monday May,22th. Write a five or more paragraph essay of about 500-750 words in which you contrast two friends or two people you know well. It is a good idea to choose two friends or two people who have different life styles or different approaches to life. Although both similarities and differences may exist in the two people, make sure that your essay focuses on differences. Use the Bruce Catton essay “Grant and Lee: A Study in Contrasts” as your model. You will find this essay starting on page 393 in Patterns for College Writing (13th edition). Recall our class discussion of this essay and what was said about the various writing techniques Catton employs. Your finished essay must adhere to the MLA essay format. The MLA essay format is explained in your textbook and in a supplemental handout that was distributed previously. Additional help is available in The Writing Connection in room 6337. Your finished MLA-style essay will be due on the announced due date. As always, follow the conventions of edited Standard American English.
