can you please paraphrase these 2 paragraphs (please change the whole paragraph and write it in your own words) .
Â
The whole process is categorized into three parts- Â firstly, coal is burned with excess air in a furnace and produces furnace flue gas and bottom ash. The flue gas will continuously be in the system for further use, including heat exchanging and sulphur dioxide emission. However, the bottom ash leaves the system.
The second part, which is the ‘energy producing part’, consists of the heat exchange with combustion air, generation of stream, production of mechanical work and recycling of condensate. Before part two, the flue gas is fed to an electrostatic precipitator to remove particulates from the flue gas. The internal energy of combustion air is significantly increased, performing a temperature increase, due to the heat exchange with the flue gas leaving the furnace (electrostatic precipitator) at an air preheater. The generation of stream is achieved at a boiler based on the recycle condensate heated by the combustion air.
Â
The mechanical work is generated using a turbine system where the supercritical conditioned stream is converted to a lower pressured as a liquid-vapour mixture through a turbine and the heat is removed by cooling water in a condenser, performing saturated condensate which will finally be pumped back to the boiler as a recycle stream.
The third part-emission of sulphur dioxide, which meets the essence of this project has inner sections of scrubbing with limestone slurry, releasing of the flue gas and blending of spent slurries. The flue gas is split into two equal streams after leaving air preheater and before entering two scrubbers containing limestone slurries. The two scrubbers enable the emission of sulphur dioxide from the flue gas and will export two streams of cleaned flue gas when they meet the EPA standards.
The cleaned flue gas is finally released from a stack after blending the two stream of heated, cleaned flue gas exported from the scrubbers and heated by heaters. The aim of blending spent slurries leaving the scrubbers is to reuse the unreacted limestone inside and to produce fresh limestone slurries for the scrubbers. The fresh limestone slurries are producing by using a blender where fresh finely ground limestone, makeup water, a recycle stream and one of the split spent slurry streams. The recycle stream is the wet solids in one of the other split slurry streams separated by a filter from its filtrate.
