Choose a city or region with which you are familiar and has several places in which to hold large conventions. Go to the CVB's website for that area, or other websites, and research the different places meeting planners can hold conventions.

a. Besides the convention center name three locations where large conventions can be held (other than hotels). Include links to each location and the capacity.

b. Name five major hotels that can hold large groups in the city. Include links to the hotels and a brief summary of the group accommodations and amenities.

c. Name one international, one national, one regional, and one county/city convention that is currently being held in that city. Include a link to that convention and a general summary on the convention and number of attendees.

Must be written in APA format and cite your sources in-text as well as on the reference page. Title page is required. An abstract should not be included. Assignment files should be labeled per the guidelines in the syllabus.
