Write a coherent, clearly organized essay of 10000 words or more (3 to 4 typed pages) on which you cite scenes, speeches, quotes, and/or circumstances from the works to support your thesis.

Choose any 3 (or more) characters from “The Wife of Bath’s Prologue and Tale,” and discuss in great, thoughtful detail where they should be placed in Dante’s version of Hell.

You are not to use outside resources in the paper (no research). The paper should be solely your own ideas, supports only by evidence from the work itself. No in-text citation or any kind, nor a work cited page, is necessary.

The paper should be typed, double-spaced (12-point type, one-and-half space usually looks good), no notes or bibliography, with a title page, stapled.

The paper will be graded equally on the following criteria:

• A)How well written and organized it is
• B)How well you understand the work under discussion and use the work to support your ideas.
• C)Spelling, punctuation, sentence and paragraph structure, and overall essay coherence DO matter.
