norm breaking behavior

need help using the term norm breaking behavior and edit and revise no plagiarism

For this response paper I chose to go to a restaurant and order something which typically requires the use of utensils to consume and use my hands to eat the food. I went to the restaurant with my family and friends they knew exactly what I was going to do and they agree to play along with me. I order salad with pasta and the others order enchiladas and menudo. We were in the restaurant for two hours and we chose to go to a restaurant where it’s crowded and have a better result of the experiment.

When we started to eat using our hands we have the sense people around us starting at us and talking about the situations with other relatives. I do feel some people thought it was part of our beliefs and norms but others thought we just did not have manners and respect for ourselves.  Before even starting to perform the task I have a double thoughts if I should do it or not I did not want to embarrassed myself and have a moment of feeling a celebrity. During the experiment I was feeling sweating and I turn red of feeling uncomfortable with people I did not know. After I finish with the experiment I was relieve I was finish but also I learn that having different performance that comes with norms, values and rituals have people to talking and think that doing something different from others is weird and is not from the planet.
