1.What role does you-tube play, or might it play, in improving the nation’s fitness?

 

Find 2 articles about a wellness-related problem or issue or idea this country is facing. Describe the current situation, the ideas your articles suggest or the conclusions your authors reach. Evaluate their opinions or suggestions and add at least one of your own. Explain how this problem affects the 4 goals of Healthy People 2020.

Choose from the topics below. Some are about the big picture, some are quite narrow and specific. Only one person for each topic, so the earlier you let me know your topic, the better chance you have of getting it. Send me the number, not the topic, and please remember to include your section. If you cannot find 2 good articles about your first choice, you may change your topic. Reference librarians are there to help you – go to Cook for help or use the CHAT function on the TU website. I look forward to reading some interesting papers about these important topics.

The paper should be 2-3 pages long, with a MAXIMUM of 4 pages if you absolutely need it. The idea is to do a lot of reading, a lot of thinking, and not much writing. Make sure there is no padding, no unnecessary verbiage. Write clearly and concisely. You do not need to use APA or other format, and I do not require a certain font style or size, but make it really easy for me to read. Put your topic and your name at the top of the first page – no title page needed. Do give me a ‘works cited’ page, and of course you must use in-text citations to credit your authors for their ideas.

NOTE: you must attach your articles to your paper so that I can quickly check any fact that surprises me. If I had to look them all up in a reference list, you might not get your papers back until June. If an article is long, just give me the first page and the pages you used. Your highlighting will help me find things, so please do that on your printed pages.
