Is there a difference when writing genetic notation for drosophila when there is two genes versus one?
i.e. is there a difference between r+s+ vs. r+r s+s or are these the same but just written in a short form?
i.e. XrY S+S+ x Xr+Xr+ S S vs Xr S+ Xr+ S
Also, do you always have to write the notation for an individual as something in a similar format to r+s/r+s or are there exceptions?
