What topics do you enjoy researching
What topics do you enjoy researching (for example: is there a particular societal problem that interests you)? Do you perform research in your work? What types of research have you performed?
Some students find the idea of research methods daunting. Remember, being asked to look into something for work (such as comparing programs to provide solutions to a company problem or a community issue) or in your personal life (such as selecting where to live or where to send your kids to school) is research, so this course is an extension of what we often already do every day, just on a much wider scale regarding specific groups or specific issues in society. Does this perspective make the course seem valuable and are you excited to get started?
