Introduction

For this week's assignment, you will create a script and simple storyboard from the paper you wrote in Week 1. (Hint: Use your outline from that week too.)

Please use Sections 4 and 5 to help you decide what visualizations to use in your storyboard.

 

Writing a Script

You've already done research on your topic, communication in the workplace. Then you wrote an outline and got feedback on it. You then used the outline to write a paper. You're an expert!

Writing a script about communication in your workplace will be fairly straightforward because you have already written so much about it. Use your outline as a guide, and then add details about your supporting evidence from your paper. Your finished script should use the format below, and it should be at least 3 pages long (about three times as much as the example below).

 

Notice that direct quotes from the paper are included in the script, and they are highlighted. Please do that also. In the Images column, ideas for visual aids are listed.

 

Submitting Files

You must submit your script to the Writing Center for feedback, in addition to submitting it to the Week 3 Discussion forum.

Please note, if you do not submit your paper by Thursday, 9am, there is a chance you will not receive feedback in time for this assignment.
• Live Appointments: Once you have completed your live session, please take a screen shot of your previous appointment history, and submit it with your assignment.
• Online Submission: Once you have received your feedback, please download a copy of it and submit it with your assignment.
