the speaker off her feet on a carriage ride to eternity. For this formal
essay, you must use one other source besides your own text; this
makes for one primary source where you find the poem and one
secondary source, an article or essay or biography that gives you
insight into the poem. So, to be clear, you are defending your thesis
with evidence from the primary text (the poem itselfl and
additionally with a critic‘s opinion from a secondary source. Please
include the poem [primary source) and not the criticism (secondary source) in the essay. Include both as entries in the
