PHL/320 Week 3 Discussion quwstion 4

Question description

Happy Saturday Everyone,

This is a great discussion on motivation and engagement!

According to Markos and Sridevi (2010) , the Development Dimensions International (DDI, 2005) states that a manager must do five things to create a highly

engaged workforce. They are:

• Align efforts with strategy

• Empower

• Promote and encourage teamwork and collaboration

• Help people grow and develop

• Provide support and recognition where appropriate

Class,
What are your thoughts on the above 5 things for engagement.  I would add flexibility to the list. What would you add to the list as to help with employees engagement?
