Course Project: The course project will consist of a 1,000-word research and analysis paper on a particular fire or explosion that resulted in a loss of life. Using the knowledge you gained from this course, you should explain how the fire or explosion was ignited; and the effects of flame spread, smoke travel, and fuel load on the outcome of the incident. You should document what important lessons were learned from the event, and what, if any, changes were made to fire safety standards, codes, or laws as a result of it.
Photographs and diagrams should be included in your research paper.
     P.S.
I am active duty navy, so if you could write about an explosion that happened onboard a ship i would prefer something like that, but i will take what ever you have to offer =)
