Before the creation, God created his thrown and then he created the pen and the God
asked the pen to write, the pen replied "What should I write? " God said, "Write!" the Pen
respond, "What should I write?" God said, "Write what happened and what will happen until the
day of judgment." everything God's had created with a particular measure. After a following fifty
thousand years, God's gave the permission to create the skies, earth, and mountains, and all the
universe. Then God's created the Jennies creation on the earth for a long time to worship him and
to live and build the on the earth, but they didn't follow God's commands. God's decided to
create the human being. Whichever he is the father of humankind Adam peace upon him, he is
the first person in the universe. “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of
God he created them; male and female he created them.” (Genesis 1:27New International
Version) “2 Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!” “ 3 Know that
the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his
pasture.” (Psalm 100:2–3)
God who gave the people the life when he created Adam out of sands from different
places of the earth and mixed with water to become mods when it is left to dry become sounding
clay. "Adam was molded from something akin to potter’s clay," and then God's breath the life out
his almighty soul into Adam’s body to give its life. "71. Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I
am about to create man from clay: 72. "When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and
breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him." (Qur'an38:71-72) In the
Bible was stated the story of God created Adam and Eve “Genesis 1-3New International Version
(NIV)”
1 Then God's delivered the whole human's creation souls into Adam’s back and took the
oath out of them that am I your Lord and the humans replied that we bear witness that is you the
only our God. After, almighty God calls all the Angels to prostrate to Adm. All of them obey the
command except the Devil (Satan) with arrogance refused to do. “The Angels prostrated
themselves all of them together. Except Satan, he refused to be among the prostrators.
God said: ‘O Satan! What is your reason for not being among the prostrators? ‘Satan
said: ‘I am not the one to prostrate myself to a human being, whom You created from sounding
clay of altered black smooth mud.’ God said: ‘Then get out from Here for verily you are an
outcast or cursed one. Verily the curse shall be upon you till the Day of Resurrection.’” (Quran
15:30-35) God's asked him the reason for not following the command he responded that he is
better than this creation out of clay and he created from the fire. “.... Prostrate to Adam and they
prostrated except Iblees (Satan)....” (Quran 7:11). Then God banished him and ejected him out of
the heaven until the day of judgment. Devil (Satan) challenge God without any respect that he
will use all of his ways to influence the humanity to disobey God. Satan said: “…surely I will sit
in wait against them (human beings) on Your Straight Path. Then I will come to them from
before them and behind them, from their right and from their left…” (Quran 7:16-17)
According to the tradition of Prophet Muhammad peace upon him, Eve created from
Adam's shortest left rib in heaven. They have dwelt in tranquility in Paradise for a period. God
said to Adam, “eat both of you freely with pleasure and delight of things therein as wherever you
will...” (Quran 2:35) But, God continued his instructions to Adam and Eve by warning them
“...come not near this tree or you both will be of the wrongdoers.” (Quran 2:35) After they
disobey his command's by leasing to the influence of the Satan's whispered into their hearts with
2 thoughts and desires about that tree "Satan said to Adam and Eve, “...Your Lord did not forbid
you this tree save that you should become Angels or become of the immortals.” (Quran 7:20)
Adam and Eve as all human curiosity about that tree, they decided to eat from that tree that they
do not supposed to eat according to God's instructions. He descent them and Satan to the earth
live to untie the day of judgment. “Then they both ate of that tree, and so their private parts
appeared to them, and they began to stick on themselves the leaves from Paradise for their
covering. Thus did Adam disobey his Lord, so he went astray. Then his Lord chose him, and
turned to him with forgiveness and gave him guidance.” (Quran 20:121-122) “Get you down
(upon the earth), all of you together, from Paradise, some of you are an enemy to some others.
Then, if there comes to you guidance from Me, whoever follows My Guidance shall neither go
astray nor fall into distress and misery.” (Quran 20:123). So, they descended to the earth was not
a degradation but, it was dignified.
Is this life it for a reason? There are too many opinions in respects to the right of life.
Some say love is the reason life; another say the nature of the universe is people live and die
which are the regular cycle of the universe. However, this shallow thinking about the purpose of
life in some opinion is what make you different than animals yet, that animals worship God, but
people does not understand their way of worship to God. In fact, the purpose of creation human
being on earth is to worship God. "And I did not create the Jinn and mankind except to worship
Me…" (Quran, 51:56-58) "O mankind, worship Allah, you have no deity other than Him.
(Quran, 7:59,65,73,85; Also 11:50,61,84; and 23:23,32)." "[He] who created death and life to test
you [as to] which of you is best in deed - and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving." (Quran,
67:2) "Did ye then think that We had created you in jest, and that ye would not be brought back 3 to Us (for account)?" “ Therefore exalted be Allah, the King, the Reality: there is no god but He,
the Lord of the Supreme Throne!” (Quran, 23:115-116)
Since God created the life and death and created us, he is the only one knew what the
right for his creations which he is the one know what is beneficial for his creations whichever is
it looked for us it healthy or harmful in our limited thinking. "Knowest thou not that Allah knows
all that is in heaven and on earth? Indeed, it is all in a Record, and that is easy for Allah." (Quran
22:70) In Islam, this is what it's called Al-Qadar that mean is "God's (Allah’s) predestination of
measurements and sustenance of everything and everyone, according to His Knowledge and
Wisdom."
God is the creator of us, and God know more than you know about you, so believing in
this, it is mean that you believe in Al-Qadar, that mean surrender to whatever God's well. Once
you are believing in Al-Qadar will lead you to have the inner peace, which will take you to the
satisfaction whatever the situation is yours Like or Dislike. "Fighting is prescribed for you, and
ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a
thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not." (Quran 2:216) In Biblical
study stated that “He knows us far better than we know ourselves” (Romans 8:27-37)
Satisfaction will deliver the person to reach a higher level of faith which will enhance
your spirituality level when you satisfy with your Qadar, whatever you like or dislike it,
regardless of the nature of a circumstance that a person is facing. Moreover, those who believe
with Qadar that mean they believe in God's knowledge, and wisdom. “In the day of prosperity be
happy, But in the day of adversity consider—God has made the one as well as the other so that
man may not discover anything that will be after him” (Eccl. 7:14)
4 Also, God put all the human in this life as a test for the hereafter. There is a heaven or
hellfire in the day of judgment. Pearson who passes the test will get to enter the heaven, and
those who fail the test will enter the hellfire. A person who is facing suffering in this life should
be happy, because, that mean God gave him an opportunity of an easier test than those who is not
suffering. "HE is my STEADFAST LOVE and my FORTRESS, my STRONGHOLD and my
DELIVERER, my SHIELD and HE in whom I take REFUGE." (Psalm 144:2 (ESV))
God’s rights upon his creation once he created the sole and sustain the universe. As it
mentioned in the holy Quran “It is He Who brought you forth from the wombs of your mothers
when ye knew nothing; and He gave you hearing and sight and intelligence and affections: that
ye may give thanks (to Allah..” “Do they not look at the birds, held poised in the midst of (the air
and) the sky? Nothing holds them up but (the power of) Allah. Verily in this are signs for those
who believe.” (Quran 16:78-79) He is the one who sustain and provides every creation on the
earth its food and health they need for life. While you are human cannot help yourself without
God’s well and permeation of having the wealth.
A wiser person should be patient when facing suffering or difficulties which will lead to
raising the spiritual level and more rewards from God. However, as our thinking is limited and
God know better than us of what is more beneficial for his creation when the suffering happens it
seems so terrible for you, but in future, you will see that was more useful than what it seems to
you. Say: "O ye my servants who believe! Fear your Lord, good is (the reward) for those who do
good in this world. Spacious is Allah.s earth! those who patiently persevere will truly receive a
reward without measure!" (Quran 39:10) 5 “Great reward comes with great trials. When Allah loves a people, He tests them, and
whoever accepts it attains His pleasure, whereas whoever shows discontent with it incurs His
wrath.”2Narrated and classed as hasan by at-Tirmidhi (2396); classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in
as-Silsilah as-Saheehah, no. 146 “How wonderful is the affair of the believer, for his affairs are
all good, and this applies to no one but the believer. If something good happens to him, he is
thankful for it and that is good for him. If something bad happens to him, he bears it with
patience and that is good for him.” (Narrated by Muslim, 2999). Also, in Bible “Beloved, do not
be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange
were happening to you. But rejoice insofar as you share Christ's sufferings, that you may also
rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed.” (1 Peter 4:12-13)
In addition, “For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it
yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.” (Hebrews 12:11)
The key is patient and prays for God to ask him the forgiveness. Also, the suffering is like an
eraser for your sins, because, as much as you suffer in this life and you be patient and
remembering God when you suffer that what is spirituality are. When you remember God during
suffering, make you think and make account of what you have been doing through your life.
For the believer to become more spiritual should be accountable for their deeds toward
themselves and towards other. Being responsible for your actions that what make you more
spiritual and better person in another term re-assessment of yourself.
To sum-up. everyone is being tested in this life. All people have chance of test by others
or in him/her self. Though, as much your patient on suffering is as much your spirituality are.
That will help a person to cope and accept the pain. Indeed, God will give the patient person the
6 happiness of what they have. “Verily, We created man from a drop of mingled sperm so that We
may test him; and therefore We made him hearing and seeing. We have indeed showed him the
way, now he be grateful or ungrateful.” (Quran 76:3) “God says Verily, We shall put you to test
with some fear, and hunger, and with some loss of wealth, lives, and offspring. And (O
Muhammad) convey good tidings to those who are patient, who say, when inflicted by hardship,
"Verily we are of God and verily to Him shall we return;" upon them is the blessings of Allah
and His mercy.” (Quran 2:155) 7 References:
