Journal Assignment # 1

This journal will guide you through several readings and videos that will be
valuable sources of material for this course. Your text is one part of this
material but I will also incorporate online readings, videos, and other sources
as well. I think you will find the journal work to be very beneficial as it will be
focused on YOU and what you learn from the readings, films and videos. The journal must be in the correct order and each entry must be
numbered. Write all journal entries as if you are talking to me. Essay style
is expected and no documentation is required. This is a journal
and not a paper. Type the journal as a Word document in Arial size 12.

The journal is self-paced but students should complete the assignment
for each lesson on time. The entire journal (all 12 entries) is due in Module 12. The
due date will be announced later in the course. This journal is 30 percent of your final grade for this course. Each
journal entry is worth 8.25 points.
Writing is expected to be coherent, grammatically correct, and
mechanically-sound. Points will be deducted for poor writing. All journal assignments should be a minimum of 300 words in
essay form. This is Journal Assignment # 1 Explore the links in Module 1 (articles and videos). After watching and reading
