The song by Jefferson Airplane – White Rabbit

I want to discuss about Jefferson Airplane’s White Rabbit. In general, the song has a relatively stable melody with strong voice singing it. The instruments used in the song include drum, electric guitar as well as bass. The tempo is median to fast. Personally, I feel the whole song is very psychedelic.

To me, I feel the voice makes White Rabbit outstanding particularly. Her voice is powerful, firmed while in this song, she doesn’t change the frequency of voice using that much to make changes to the song. In addition, with the weird lyrics, for example, “one pill makes you larger, and one pill makes you small, and the ones that mother gives you, don’t do anything at all”, her voice is strangely work with it together very well. I think, as I mentioned before, as a psychedelic song, White Rabbit’s weird lyrics and weird melody strangely balanced in the song and add different feelings to the song in summary. To me, that’s the point that I love it most.
