This song has never been deleted from my playlist. I love Adele's all of songs, but especially this song is the best one for me.

This song starts with just a piano as background instrument and her vocal. At the beginning of this song, the mood is calm and we might think that this song is ballad. However, her feeling gets stronger and instruments are added. Sounds of drum and string instrument appear one by one, so it gives us image that the song is running to climax.

In the middle of the song, at the climax, she bursts out her emotion. Also, with the lyric "But I set fire to the rain", she convey us a strong will of the woman who tries to leave someone gives her big hurt.

You can feel her soul full of appeal.
