Discuss the general goals of an organization's compensation system, including how a compensation strategy works to support the organization's business strategy. Respond to at least two of your fellow students’ postings.
The general goals of an organization compensation system should be internal consistency, market competitiveness, and recognition of individual contributions (Martocchio, 2011).Â
The goal I believe for an organization compensation system is to make sure that their employees are paid well according to their job title. The organization should also make sure that their wages are competitive as well because if not employees will start leaving the company and going to other companies that pays well.
If the organizations compensation is competitive and fair most companies will retain their hard working employees because of this fact but they must recruit the right candidates in order to be successful.
When employers pay well then they will attract the right candidates to their organization. I know this from experience.
