The data visualization tool I choose represented the predicted areas of potential Ebola breakout based on the population of various bat species on the continent of Africa. This tool is extremely valuable in mapping potential outbreak areas of contagious disease when likely causation factors and disease vectors are known. This particular tool features various sub maps filtered by disease vector and/or country while known outbreak areas are concurrently represented. It optionally highlights areas and specific points of realtime (reported cases of the disease) data. It also features a visual color scale representing the environmental suitability. This enhances both the bat population data and the potential outbreak area data. It illuminates areas of potential disease concentration which is paramount information when combating an epidemic. 

The visualization I selected does not factor in any other disease vectors besides the various species of bat populations on the continent. This specific representation seems perfectly capable to handle extensive data on a few variables across a large but not global area.
