 IT managers need to be aware of all options for providing necessary software to company employees at the times and in the places they need it. There are continuous redevelopment plans with subscription-type services, but these are not the full-featured business tools that are required by many companies.

With a subscription, a company does not have the same level of investment because the company is not buying the license. With a license, there is a tendency to license everyone who needs the software, but licenses belong to the company forever and payments are usually one-time rather than ongoing.

For this assignment, write a 750-1,000 word paper that identifies two organizations. The organizations can be fictional, existing, or former organizations. Once identified, you will need to research subscription and licensing software that performs the same general purpose. Recommend a subscription to one company, and explain why that would be its best option. Recommend licensing to another company, and explain why this would be its best option.
