The second paper/project will be written about what you have learned from researching and applying the leadership styles and lessons learned from Randy Pausch, Tony Dungy, Rosalind Brewer (choose 2 out of 3 leaders) and is due Weeks 4-5. (Be sure to focus on 3 lessons learned from each of 2 selected leaders and how you have or can apply them to your life.)
Â
Project #Â 2 Randy Pausch, Tony Dungy, Rosalind Brewer
Â
• Research Project Description of Expectations:
• Purpose: To explore two famous peoples' leadership styles with regard to their specific situations and outcomes.
• Read/Research information on the leader's background including hometown, family influences, education and career. Be sure to give other author's credit for material that you reference by citing any paraphrased or quoted material "in text."
• Generate a reference page using APA style of the sources that you researched. Wikipedia is not your best reference.
Â
THEN, based on your research, write a 2-4 page ESSAY on the LEADERSHIP LESSONS that YOU have learned based on your reading. Relate the leadership lessons to YOUR LIFE and how you have applied or may apply them in the future.
Â
Please write your 2-4 page essays with a well written introduction, three main lessons that you learned from EACH leader with examples, supportive evidence and a conclusion. You may compare/contrast leadership styles and actions. (Total of 6 lessons learned)
Â
I am interested in what you have learned as a result of your reading/watching videos and research. You do not have to cover the leader's history. As mentioned above, the bulk of your paper should show how you can personally apply the learning to your life experiences. How can you use this learning in your leadership situation?
Â
The second research paper will be written on Randy Pausch, Tony Dungy, Rosalind Brewer:

Â
Then, based on these and further references, write your paper. (Reminder: Wikipedia is not the best reference because the information is not always verified).
Â
Your reference page will contain the references you researched to give you the background to write the paper. Use APA style. Grammar, punctuation, logic, clarity, and conciseness will affect your grade. It is important to express yourself well in writing.
