• Discuss the main similarities and differences between at least two sects of the Islamic religion.
• Discuss the overall role of women in the Islamic religion. Name at least two ways in which the role of women is different in Islam from the role of women in another mainstream religion we have studied.
  In order to respond to this initial question adequately, you will need to provide at least 2 complete paragraphs, and then add at least 2 bullet points. And... according to APA guidelines a paragraph is defined as a minimum of 3 complete sentences. Begin your paragraph with a topic sentence that clearly states the issue that will be examined in that paragraph, and then follow it up with at least 2 sentences that support that statement.Paragraph #1 should discuss the main similarities and differences between 2 sects of Islam. First you will need to identify 2 sects of Islam (and there are more to choose from than just Sunni and Shia). Then you will need to identify what you believe to be their main differences and similarities. This will require you to provide at least 1 similarity and 1 difference. State clearly your reasons for these choices. Or... you might offer 1 paragraph of similarities and 1 paragraph of differences?Paragraph #2 should discuss the overall role of women in Islam.
