We live in a society where every word or action is criticize and can have a positive or negative influence in ourselves and others. I am kind of concern with my impression management in some situations. For instance, I feel that I’m always talking wonderful things about other people with other individuals and just trying to make things as good catch so everyone can hanging out. By doing this action contribute the influence of controlling what people might feel about other people and their social identity. In other words I’m influencing other people thoughts about the person before the person know the individuals personally. Impression management can damage someone self-esteem and self-concept by thinking and valuing what people think about ourselves.  I do think criticize is good in some certain points because we can change our negative habits or lifestyle in a positive way. However, some people just cross the line by saying rude and hurtful things about someone in a meaningful way that can destroy someone ego; and I do not feel any empathy for those people. Our behavior plays an important role on how we treat people, the causes are experiences and environment shape who we are. For example, people who have a low self-esteem they will do everything they can do so they can get respect, acceptance and be social with other people. Impression management has always influence me because in every stage of my life I am changing my perspectives and my character by interacting with others and especially experiences.
