Jesus heard his name being called by a person calling from afar and went to him. Jesus asked Bartimaeus, “What do you want me to do for you?” to what the man responded, “Just help me to regain my sight”. Followed by Jesus touching this man’s eyes, and immediately giving him his sight back. The Healing of Bartimaeus reveals the healing endeavor that occurs as an outcome of faith. Likewise, the healing hospital encompasses the view of love and care, clearly demonstrated in the passage (Mark 10:46-52). Jesus demonstrated love and care by choosing to go and help the blind man. Additionally, the healing hospital’s ideal of spiritual healing is a perfect illustration of spiritual hospitality to a patient.

           It is very apparent that a successful healing hospital, must be capable of providing comfort, care, kindness, and physical health to an individual. Key factors that one must take into consideration for a healing environment includes: different components in a healing hospital, possible challenges, and the Biblical aspects of the healing hospital. Illnesses are not easy to accept nor to adapt to especially if it is a terminal sickness; however, creating a safer and pleasurable environment within the hospital can help the patient feel more at ease and understood.
