can you please help me for this question.
In the film Food, Inc, organic farmer Joel Salatin stated: “I mean, a culture that just views a pig as a pile of protoplasmic inanimate structure to be manipulated by whatever creative design that humans can foist on that critter will probably view individuals within its community and other cultures in the community of nations with the same type of disdain, disrespect and controlling-type mentality.”
In a short 200-300 word response,
1. What do YOU think Mr. Salatin means by this statement? and
2. Consider the human examples from the film (poor urban families; local farmers; migrant workers; undocumented immigrants, etc…). Given these examples, what are your thoughts about the relationship between farming and community in the United States?
A good response will include multiple examples from the film in support of your point of view.
