In my opinion I think that going to EHR's is better for HIM professionals because if they need to find something it will be a lot easier to find on a computer, rather than having to look through hundreds of paper documents to find the piece of information they were needing. I think that a problem with EHR's is that computers get hacked every single day, and any computer is at risk for being hacked and that could lead to patients information being seen. I think that genetic information needs to be protected because it has highly confidential information in the documents and needs to be protected.
