A centrifuge is a device that puts a liquid in a state of uniform circular motion. Due to high values of the centripetal acceleration, substances of different densities will separate. The "speed" of a centrifuge is sometimes described in revolutions per minute (RPM), but a better description is called the relative centrifugal force (RCF), which is equal to the centripetal acceleration as a multiple of g = 9.80 m/s2.
 ac = RCF × g
Suppose that a centrifuge is rotating at 2500 RPM and the liquid sample is moving on a circular path of radius 18.4 cm. What is the corresponding relative centrifugal force (RCF)?
