A 10 kg block is released from a height of 3.0 m with an initial speed of 0.5 m/s. It slides down a frictionless ramp; upon reaching a level surface it encounters a 6.0 m long rough patch. After passing through this patch the block enters another frictionless surface where it then strikes a spring (k=2250 N/m) and compresses it 30 cm. Determine:
 a. The coefficient of kinetic friction along the rough surface, and
