Persuasion is found EVERYWHERE at work. This speech will focus on the persuasive elements and skills learned in the presentation section of the course. Students will put together a 6-8 minute persuasive speech on any APPROVED topic. Topics should focus on debatable issues, current events, or conflicts and how to resolve them.  The speech must have support, 2 verbal citations, and a clear thesis. It must be engaging and have a true call to action. Topics must be approved by instructor. Topics should be new and innovative.  

Students will be required to turn in a typed, formal outline of their speech.
