The Big Five Project gave me a good laugh; it made me feeling even more like a robot who goes to work and goes to the gym and comes home and sleeps and repeats the next day. The OCEAN personality test is a real I opener for me because I here this a lot form family and friends. When taking this test, I think the results are over about seventy five percent true. I learned over the years of being lied to and other thing when I used to be very nice guy I got used a lot and when I need someone no one came to my rescue; I came to my own rescue along with help from the man upstairs. I would say all the disappointments in life shape me to become a strong young man who doesn't depend on anyone at all if I can't It myself I don't need it.

When it comes to Open-mindedness I scored low less than the twenty percent range it says I'm down to earth which I am. I tend to stay the same no matter what happens I could when a million dollars and probably would still be down to earth with it.  It says that I prefer traditional and familiar experiences. Which I would say is half way true my thing is if it works why change it if it doesn't work then there another way to fix it.

When it comes to conscientiousness I score in the fifty percent range it saw I neither organized or disorganized which I agree sometimes I can be messy if I'm working a lot during the week or if I have a slow week or I'm very clean I just clean the entire house.

When it comes to Extraversion I can agree with the results I don't like being mixed in with social events. When it comes to party's I don't go them because someone is always gone act stupid. I've always been like since I was 19 and got maced spray when I away from everyone but the fight came to where I am.

When it comes to Agreeableness I scored low which is says I'm rude and harsh. I've always said my reply depends on how you come off to me if your rude to me I will let you know is the most respectable way possible. I get called blunt a lot because I don't have a problem telling someone the truth rather it hurts or not. Negative Emotionality it basically saying I don't get nervous and I don't get calm. I think another word for that for me in Nonchalant I don't show happiness nor to I sow sadness.

When it comes to chapter the theory that relates to me is Sigmund Freud when it comes to psychoanalysis which involves the unconscious and motives. It involves the energy within a person. The theory's main concepts are for one form of attachments and the conflicts and the motivates.

They related directly to me because my entire was shaped by the conflicts that happened to me in my life growing up in life that shaped me. Pain and conflict are the greatest things in life that can shape and change a person and how they grow in life.

After taking the Big Five Personality Quiz my results seemed to match pretty closely to how I view myself. My OCEAN report is as follows.

Open-mindedness: I scored in the 11th percentile in this category which means that I am a creature of habit. I tend to stick to things that I am familiar with which I agree with but according to the quiz it also means I am uncreative and have narrow interests. This part I do not agree with because I am a pretty curious person and I like finding unique things to do.

Conscientiousness: I was in the in the 76th percentile in this category. This means I am very well organized and that I am reliable. These traits I very much agree with. It also means I have good self-discipline which I do not think is always the case. I tend to get side tracked easily especially depending on what the task at hand is.

Extraversion: In this category I was in the 16th percentile. Such a low score means I like to be by myself according to the quiz. I believe this is half correct and the reason why is because I would rather be by myself then in crowds of people that I do not know. I am uncomfortable with trying to make small talk with strangers. The reason I say it is only half correct is because I am always around the select few friends that I actually have. I would say I spend 4-5 days out of the 7 days in a week with my friends because I would rather be around them then by myself if that makes sense.

Agreeableness: I got a 64 percentile with this one. I can definitely agree with this one because I am very thoughtful of other peoples feelings and I like to think that I am a polite person but at the same time I can also be very stubborn which is why I believe the 64th percentile is pretty spot on. It is a little past the half way mark.

Negative Emotionality: I was determined to be in the 53rd percentile which is practically right in the center. I am neither too anxious nor am I too calm. I think it is just the right amount of both and I would definitely agree with the results of this category.

I believe that the biggest influence that my upbringing had on my personality was the fact that my mom got very sick when I was a young girl. That event shaped my personality into being more organized because not only did I have to grow up a little bit faster than most children but I also helped take care of my little sister during that time period. I also think that that experience is why I care so much about other peoples feelings.

Another personality theory that I read about in our textbook that I view is applicable to my own personality is the trait theory. This theory was developed by Gordon Allport and I chose this theory because I believe it relates the most to me. Allport believes that your personality is developed at birth however it is shaped as you grow up by the environment that surrounds you. This theory says that many people have few (five to ten) central traits and many secondary traits. Central traits are the core of who you are. What your views are, your temperament as well as how you react to certain situations. This relates to me because I have always had a positive outlook on life, I have always been stubborn and my reaction to certain situations really just depends on what the situation is. The secondary traits are things such as taste in music, what your habits are and what your opinions on different things are. These traits are more changeable aspects whereas the central traits consistently remain the same. I think almost everyone can agree that their taste in music, style, clothes, opinions etc. have changed at least once if not more in their lives. I certainly know mine have and it always changes based on what you see within the environment you are surrounded by.

After taking the Big five personality test and reviewed my results I believe it accurately portrayed me the exact way I see myself in the OCEAN model for many different reasons. For Open-Mindedness I received a 67 percent which I believe is true because I'm always curious to learn new things, especially when it comes to a different culture, education, history, and other people's opinions on complex subjects. An example of this is that I'm a very curious person and I love to people watch weather it's from a different region or different country to observe the way they talk and interact with people. Conscientiousness I received an 86 percent, I also believe true due to me always wanting to get things done at work the fastest as possible and people always come to me to get things done because I'm a reliable person. Extraversion I received a 34 percent which really does portray me because I always keep stuff to myself and tend to be quiet. For example in large groups I always tend to be the most quiet one in the group. Agreeableness I received a 79 percent which really states that I'm really kind hearted and forgiving person. An example of this would be I would go out of my way for close friends and family members to help them with any type of issue they need help with. Negative emotionally I received 79 percent, this is pretty accurate because I have always worried about every little thing wanting things to be perfect for my family because I have always felt like they should deserve everything regardless what I need to do. I really believe that the biggest influence of my personality is the way I was raised by my parents because they always been there for me and would show me the right way to doing things and would always hold me accountable.

What I believe played a big role on my personality would be the cultural perspective because of my past experiences and the way I was raised while growing up. I was always shown to always be a reliable person and be responsible around the house.

The personality that strikes me the most and I see how it takes effect onto my personality is social-cognitive learning theory. The theory's main concepts is that we get our personality from role models and learning from our experiences. An example of how it relates to me on my personality is by how my father showed me responsibility and value of money by making me earn money to obtain a video game console I wanted.
