General Format
The paper will adhere to current APA guidelines, which can be utilized by accessing
http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/560/01/ and will include a title sheet and a reference
page. The body of the paper, not counting the title or reference pages, will be a minimum of two
full pages in length. You only need to include two references: One should be your textbook and
the other should be from a peer-reviewed source. You may benefit from the work you have done
in the Wiki 1 assignment to understand what constitutes a peer-reviewed source.
Perspectives Paper
This paper will include a personal commentary related to one of the four perspectives of
psychology. These perspectives include the psychodynamic, behavioral, humanistic and
biological approaches to understanding personality and psychological disorders. You should
address the following questions in the body of your paper. Identify which of the four perspectives you found most appealing in relation to your
understanding of personality and give a very brief/basic overview of its main features. Discuss why this perspective was most appealing to you.
o Describe two of the strongest properties of the perspective that lead you to this
decision.
o Describe one problem area (limitation) that challenged your decision to choose
this perspective.
