-What do you see as the major occupational and lifestyle issue(s) people in young and middle adulthood confront today? Explain one of the reasons for these major issues.

 

 

-Projecting forward, raising kids and caring for aging parents. So let's talk about the empty nest syndrome. Some people go through it and others don't. One reason some might not go through it is that once their children are gone, they have aging parents to care for. There are several generalizations we can make about caring for aging parents: who ends up doing it, how they end up doing it (i.e. nursing home, assisted living, parent moves in with them) and how it affects their home life. Pick one of these areas and talk about it in more detail.
