Description. Will need to design a “Warehouse Inventory Management System” for a small sporting
goods business who needs to implement an inventory management system to keep better track of the
inventory that’s available in the store. This will help us to be better equipped to assist our customers
and allow us to grow as a company.
For this assignment, you are to prepare a presentation to the meeting of key stakeholders on the results
of Iteration 1 of the Elaboration phase. Please include for the following:
1. The domain model should be started, and included in this material.
2. The design model should be started, and included.
3. The software architecture document should be started, and included. In the software architecture
document, you need to list key architectural issues and their resolution, if they are resolved. A software
design document becomes a list of important design issues and how they were resolved, as well a list of
those issues still open.
4. The data model should be started and included.
Include definitions of tables and attributes where needed for clarity.
5. Include use cases for what will be coded* in this iteration
(***You do NOT need to code modules, but you need to identify what modules you would implement in
each iteration, if this were a real project. In a real Agile project, coding does occur in each iteration and I
will keep referring to coding as if it WERE part of each iteration. The only coding you might do is to show
how the user interface is to work
Include use case storyboards or prototype code to show the user I/F. A sketch of the user interface will
suffice.
6. Include SSD's for what will be coded*** in this iteration 7. Include a dynamic model to show
interaction (a sequence diagram or a communication diagram) 8. Include class diagrams with methods
described (each method has a name and attributes)

Cashiers and Salespeople: Lookup current inventory, including department location, price of inventory
item
Stock Employees: Item department, lookup item inventory, monitor inventory
Managers: Lookup current inventory, adjust prices, add items, remove items, monitor inventory,
approve and order inventory
