The future of strategy

The future of strategy is very uncertain going into the future. 

 

1.    What roles or purposes does corporate strategy play in an organization? Is a corporate strategy even necessary for a firm to be successful? Why or why not? Would business and customers be better off without corporate strategy? Should corporate strategy be abandoned altogether? 

2.    What do you believe are the three major crises that will confront businesses over the next 50 years? Explain the impact that these crises will have on modern corporations and how they conduct business?
