Good HR planning begins with solid research on the work that needs doing in your organization. This process is called Job Analysis.
This assignment will walk you through the Job Analysis process of researching information about a job, analyzing the data collected, and writing a job description based on your research and analysis.
Complete all three parts below. As you go through the process, you will “show your work” as indicated. Please put all three parts in one document.
1. RESEARCH: Go to the Occupational Information Network (O*NET) database at http://online.onetcenter.org/. Choose a job that interests you.

2. ANALYZE: In this step you decide what Tasks, Responsibilities, and Duties are most important to the success of this job. Based on these, you determine the Bona Fide Occupational Qualifications (BFOQ) that someone needs to do the job.
- for the assignment: list each item below and thoroughly answer the questions associated with it, based on the information you found in O*NET, other sources, or your experience.
