I.          Identify and explain how the North and South came to create different definitions of freedom and democracy prior to the Civil War.

 

(Consider economic, social, and political aspects of freedom and democracy. Give specific examples.)

                                   

II.        Conclusion: How did the experience of the Civil War and Reconstruction expand or limit these definitions?

The textbook we use in class is Eric Foner-Give Me Liberty!_ An American History. 1-W. W. Norton & Company (2013)

If you can't find it I guess it is OK if you use outside sources but I don't recommend it. I need this before tomorrow. Thanks
