sound great in theory

Deliverable: A short but carefully written paper. (1-2 pages for each interview) Identify 3 companies you want to talk to/are interested in Interview someone from each company Find someone in a business you are interested in whom you can interview, in person or by phone. If possible, meet in person. Use your social network and social media to connect. Your goal is to learn about a “good, toothache” problem they have; a problem that is causing them pain now and they are searching for a solution. You want to understand their business model and the pain points. You want to look for opportunities and where you could add value. • How does your business make money? • How do you make/deliver your product? • What errors happen? • What are some of your headaches about the business? • How do you get new customers? • How do you hire, train, fire? • What is your biggest challenge? • If someone could fix one thing about your business, what would that be? • From a scale of 1-5, how valuable would it be to you if someone could fix this problem? (1 being a little and 5 being I would buy it on the spot!)
