Now that you have gotten to know your character a little better, it's time for you to step into a day your character might have. Make it an interesting day - one where something happened. A day at school with a lot of homework is not very interesting. A day where one got into a fight with her or his best friend is something to write about. Use your imagination and write a day about your character that would interest your reader side.
Your story must take place in ONE day, be no more than two pages, typed and double-spaced, and include dialogue from your character. Use the Freytag Pyramid to construct the plot of your story. Be sure the plot or event develops through rising action, some climax, falling action, and a resolution.
