Watch the following YouTube video on nuclear, biological, chemical warfare. Be forewarned it may be somewhat disturbing because it does show some images of the effects of some of these types of weapons, but it is well worth the watch especially if you do not have a great deal of knowledge in this area. The things that you see in this video are real. Mankind has definitely come up with a multitude of very unpleasant ways of ending the lives or seriously injuring each other. It has been this way from the beginning of time and in my opinion it will continue until the end of time.

A significant threat, perceived or real is the possibility of certain countries developing nuclear weapons or using radioactive materials to attack other countries. Many global administrations are encouraging all “nations” to get rid of all nuclear weapons and backing off on nuclear defense systems. How does this make you feel? Do you feel that it is a great idea, that once we get rid of nuclear weapons we will all play together nicely, or do you feel that at least some nuclear weapons are needed as deterrents to make sure that the world knows that if attacked we have the ability to blow the aggressor back to the stone age?

Of course, by the way that I have worded the statements above you probably “get” how I feel about the subject. But let’s get the discussion going.
