Now, it's your turn to teach. Research learning theories through scholarly Web sites, articles, library books, films, videos, and talks with teachers to find one that interests you, especially. Then, do detailed research on that theory and give a PowerPoint presentation or written report. You may choose the way you present your research, but be sure to include:

• Title
• Introduction to the theory
• Information on the theorists, their work and how they came up with this theory
• Explanation of the theory (for someone who doesn't know anything about the subject)
• What special type(s) of learner(s) particularly benefit(s) (if applicable)
• Examples of the theory in practice
• Results evidenced in the research or since
• Why you chose this particular learning theory/theorist
• Your ideas on the efficacy of this theory
• Your ideas on how you would put it into practice/research further
• Photos, videos, charts, and statistics that help explain or demonstrate
• Citations for your sources (be sure the Terms of Use allow your usage first)
• Conclusion

Including all of these aspects will create a presentation of the correct length. Use your own words. Do not copy passages or make excessive use of quotes. If a quote is used, use correct form and citation. Proofread, edit, practice, and review your work for an excellent presentation. Let your passion, knowledge, and communication skills shine. Your career as a teacher starts here.
