1. Human sacrifice was an integral feature of Aztec society. Many have criticized the Aztec for this practice. However, others argue that most cultures have some form of citizen sacrifice, such as the more than 1 million people who died building the Great Wall of China, the countless millions who died in wars started by political leaders, and the uncounted numbers sacrificed in the name of religion by Druids and Germanic Tribes in Europe.
