In lecture I show a graph that illustrates human population growth over time. It clearly shows that human population is currently increasing at a steady pace in developing countries, less so in developed nations. I spoke about how agricutlure and the green revolution are key drivers that have enabled the population to grow.
What other factors contribute to the population growth patterns that we are observing today? Do you think we will reach the 12 Billion mark, as predicted by 2150? Why or Why not?
