The five elements of emotional intelligence, writing homework help

Question description

Please do a paragraph about this post with this instruction .

post most have 4 or more sentences .

you also have to have a high quality post from a content perspective. This means it also needs to do more than agree with or praise a class mate. If you agree with a classmate, explain why, give an example, share what you learned in the readings

The five elements of emotional intelligence:

  1. Self-awareness: recognize and understand your own moods and motivations and their effect on others.
  2. Self-regulation: controlling your impulses.
  3. Internal Motivation: is marked by an interest in learning.
  4. Empathy: The ability to understand another person’s emotional reaction.
  5. Social skills: Identifying social cues to establish common ground, manage relationships and build networks (Beard, M., 2012).

Some behaviors that someone with strong self-awareness would demonstrate confidence and being aware of your own impression on others. An example of this would be: when a person knows who they are and understands their own emotions and realizes how their emotions affect others. For instance, as a nurse leader you came to work in a bad mood this would affect the staff and the atmosphere would be changed to a negative setting. This could lead to errors in the workforce as well because the staff has been affected by your mood. If you came to work in a really good mood and confident about what you were doing, then this would put the atmosphere in a positive setting. Everyone would be more productive.
